I'm Barbara, ESL coach and tutor.

        I have been tutoring children and teens who use English as a second language for most of my 12 years as a tutor. Their parents come to the U.S.  for work and are from countries all over the world. Some came here as refugees.

        I started this business and website while I was leading an ESL book discussion group on zoom for the Novi, MI public library. I enjoyed leading this book discussion very much, and I realized I've been working with ESL students and adults all along, and that no one else provides the range of services that I do.

        I work with the whole family, including students, parents, business owners, and support for company employees. I work with intermediate ESL learners who have become able to read and write in English and need more pointers and editing.
