I can help!

  • I teach study skills, organization, and test taking skills for middle school, high school, and college students. 

  • I can help those with learning disabilities and a variety of learning styles to study and plan their work more effectively.

  • Visuals and technology support organization and study practices:

    • We create index cards with sketches to show the concepts and ways the elements relate to each other.

    • We make flow charts, timelines, concept webs for prewriting.

    • Students make use of flashcard and practice apps on their phones/tablets.

  • I help students learn how to break down information into manageable parts, and make those parts learnable.

  • I help each student develop their own daily study plan and study/memorizing approach.

  • I help high school students develop step by step researching and writing skills for their high school essay assignments.
